Overview


We are seeking dedicated and professional Front Desk Agents to join our team at the Pickleball Club of Winnipeg. The ideal candidates will be the first point of contact for our members, their families, visitors, and the public. Exceptional customer service and administrative support are essential traits. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience at a sports facility or in customer service, and operating a point of sale terminal is highly desirable. Facility operating hours could be 0700hs - 2300hs and so many shifts are available. Working alone policy is always in effect.

Responsibilities



Greet and assist facility users in a friendly and professional manner. Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls appropriately while maintaining excellent phone etiquette. Performing data entry tasks related to member creation, court bookings, program registrations, event bookings, and gathering information accurately, while ensuring all information is up-to-date in our systems. Taking payments. Housekeeping duties: sweeping, organizing, vacuuming, garbage disposal, etc. Filing and clerical duties. Utilize Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and our proprietary database and software for various administrative tasks. Provide customer support by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Assist with bookkeeping tasks as needed, ensuring financial records are accurately maintained. Proofread documents for accuracy before distribution or filing. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations.

Qualifications



Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent or in a similar administrative role is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus; experience with bookkeeping is advantageous. Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry and proofreading. Organizational skills that enable efficient management of multiple tasks simultaneously. Experience in a sporting facility, school, or gym setting is highly desirable but not mandatory. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
