The Nest Health is growing! We seek to add another friendly and organized part-time Front Desk Receptionist and Customer Service Extraordinaire. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact for patients who call, visit or schedule appointments at our office. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail and a friendly personality.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:
Making patients feel warm, welcome and comfortable
Answering phone calls, returning voicemails and emails
Booking appointments using our software service Jane.
Receiving payment and recording payment on Jane.
Direct billing to benefits companies
Opening/closing procedures - cash close out, balancing reports
Cleaning/sanitizing/stocking (changing garbages, vacuuming and dusting as needed, sanitizing high touch point surfaces, stocking up supplies)
Supporting practitioners with admin duties as needed
Social Media/Marketing - help manage our Facebook, Instagram and newsletter. Assistance with post-creation and engaging our demographic would be an asset
Other admin tasks as needed

Passionate about supporting and empowering women and great with babies/children
Excellent teamwork & problem-solving skills

Excellent telephone etiquette and ability to communicate clearly with patients and staff
Strong computer literacy, and proficiency with MS Office Suite, (experience with Canva and Mail-chimp an asset)
Experience in a fast-paced multidisciplinary clinic environment
Marketing/Social media experience an asset
Possess a growth mindset
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
Hours:
we are looking to cover Wednesdays 4:30-8:30, Thursdays 4:30 pm - 8:30 pm and alternate Saturdays 7:30 am - 4pm .
ability to pick up shifts both daytime and evenings/weekends as needed would be a huge asset.
This position is largely about "fit." You will be working very closely with our team every day to streamline and facilitate our ability to provide excellent patient care. Much of your work day will be unsupervised. The ability to rapidly switch from one task to another, to prioritize and complete duties with multiple interruptions is a necessary requirement of this position. You will be provided with responsibilities and tasks however we do expect you to take initiative in helping to make the clinic and front desk run optimally.
We are looking for a person who communicates effectively and is comfortable working with the public, especially women along the motherhood journey (fertility/pregnancy/postpartum & beyond) and their babies/children.
Considering the nature of our work, there is a strict requirement for confidentiality and signing a robust confidentiality agreement is required for this position.
