Front Desk Manager (FDM)

With a solid foundation in service and hospitality, you understand that service is competence, but hospitality is connection. You're detail-oriented, proactive, and ready to take ownership of daily operations while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and warmth.
What You'll Do
As our Front Desk Manager, you'll wear many hats and wield significant influence over our guest experience and operational success:
Lead with White Glove Hospitality:
Greet every client, staff member, and guest with a warm, intentional demeanour. Anticipate needs--whether it's offering a beverage, assisting with coats, or ensuring a smooth arrival and departure.
Orchestrate Daily Operations:
Manage appointments, optimize client flow, and coordinate staff to keep everything running like clockwork. Handle communications (calls, emails, messages) and direct clients to therapists and treatment rooms with efficiency and grace.
Own Financial Operations:
Oversee payment collection, insurance billing, and bi-weekly audits with precision. Collaborate with our CFO during orientation to master our systems and take the lead on financial accuracy.
Maintain Immaculate Standards:
Ensure our facility reflects our high-end ethos through regular quality checks, staff delegation, and hands-on oversight of cleanliness and maintenance.
Drive Team Excellence:
Partner with the General Manager to set operational standards, delegate tasks, and make real-time decisions that elevate service levels and staff performance.
Plan Strategically:
Analyze schedules, implement time management systems, and stay one step ahead to prevent bottlenecks and deliver a flawless experience.
What You Bring
Experience:
A robust background in service and hospitality (e.g., high-end restaurants, hotels, or wellness environments) with a track record of creating exceptional guest experiences.
Leadership:
Confidence in managing people, processes, and priorities with authority and a collaborative spirit.
Intentionality:
A thoughtful, purposeful approach to every task--big or small--with a focus on results and connection.
Skills:
Strong organizational abilities, financial acumen, and comfort with administrative systems like Excel and POS. Experience with scheduling, billing, or inventory management is a necessary.
Passion:
A genuine love for hospitality and a belief that making others feel good is its own reward (as Maya Angelou said, "They'll never forget how you made them feel"*).
