We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency in office software, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience in medical or optical is a plus, but not required. The position offers within a supportive team.
Front desk duties as well as helping pre test patients , taking patient history and helping the office run smoothly.
Responsibilities
Greet clients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
Manage phone systems, answering calls appropriately with professional phone etiquette
Schedule appointments
Handle filing, document management, and organization
Assist with administrative tasks such as copying, scanning, and faxing documents
MSI and insurance billings
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth office operations
Preparing patients for exam-Performing pre-testing (autorefraction, retinal photos, OCT)
Accurately recording patient histories
Assisting the optometrist during exams as needed
Educating patients on contact lens care and eyewear options
Maintaining equipment, exam rooms, and cleanliness
Supporting front-desk tasks when required
Experience
Prior office experience preferred, especially in clerical or administrative roles with excellent customer service
Strong organizational skills
Excellent communication skills with professional phone etiquette
Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
