Focus Fitness is a training studio that offers clients personal training, group training and integrated health services including physiotherapy, chiropractic and registered massage therapy. We are currently in the need of a full-time Practice Manager that will act as a liaison between the business, business owner, clients, staff and local community. The manager will optimize the flow of communication internally and keep staff updated of all changes, policies, and events. They will ensure the business operations will be conducted ethically and professionally including the image of Focus Fitness and health.
Your job tasks
Deal with communications including phone, emails and social media platforms
Greeting, checking in and scheduling clients
Explaining services to potential new clients
Providing information to new clients and during inquiries
Providing tours and information sessions to new clients or drop in visits
Prepare client information questionnaires (CIQ), client resource packages
Attending to basic accounting function such as:
Client invoicing sales
Accounts payable and practice expenses
Review and monitor expenses and revenue with shareholders
Staff payroll
Assist in new staff onboarding and staff exit protocols
Maintain updated employee personal files and information in appropriate HR databases
Enter new clients into system
Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness standards of facility are met
Assist in business development projects or initiatives including social media content preparation and monitoring

able to create and nurture relationships with all stakeholders and external partners related to Focus Fitness and Health
Your education and experience
Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a service or client-focused business (fitness, healthcare and recreation industry preferred)
Must have a strong management background with leadership ability
Proven expertise in employee relations in a supervisory role
CPR / First Aid Certification
Diploma or Degree in Health Promotion/ Physical Education / Kinesiology an asset
Compensation and benefits
$28.00- 31.00 / hour
