Job Description

Rodd Grand Yarmouth Hotel is looking for a friendly service oriented person to join our Front Desk team part-time.

A Front Desk Agent ensures customers receive the best service possible from the property. They provide customers with their requested room, address their needs, and resolve any complaints they may have throughout their stay. Other duties and responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent may include:

Greeting guests upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome Recording client information in the company's guest book or internal database and directing them to their designated rooms Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings Processing customer payments and presenting them with the bill upon check-out Assisting guests who request additional services including dinner reservations, information on surrounding area and retreat activities Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times
Qualifications:

Have a high quality for of standards for service and be guest focused Need to be able to navigate and utilize computers, with willingness to learn Ability to work with minimum supervision Ability to perform assigned duties with attention to detail, speed, accuracy, follow-through, courtesy and cooperativeness Have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule
