We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be proficient in phone etiquette, and have experience in front desk operations within a hotel environment. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly valued as they enhance our ability to serve a diverse clientele.

Responsibilities



Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records. Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about hotel services and local attractions. Operate multi-line phone systems to manage incoming calls, redirecting them as necessary while maintaining professionalism. Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel's property management system. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure that guest rooms are ready for arrivals. Address any guest complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction. Maintain the front desk area in an organized manner, ensuring all materials are stocked and readily available for guests.

Requirements



Previous experience in a front desk or guest services role within the hospitality industry is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests from diverse backgrounds. Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems efficiently. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are an asset, enhancing communication with guests. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing outstanding hospitality experiences.
