Guest Service Representative Position - Part Time

We are looking for someone to join our Guest Services team. This position requires both AM, PM and overnight shifts and just the right person to give 100% Hamptonality to our guests!

Position Summary

The Front Desk Agent will ensure the guests have a great experience. You will exhibit a friendly and professional demeanor in all guest interactions as you document and ensure any issues are resolved.

Areas of Accountability

Execute the prompt and courteous handling of all guests as necessary, including but not limited to, check-in & check-out, telephone and personal inquiries and luggage handling Meet and exceed customer expectations by ensuring you provide superior service and teamwork Ensure that all customer services are delivered efficiently and effectively Effectively communicate any information or requests to co-workers as necessary Record requests for special accommodations, suites and/or in-house packages Check daily for out-of-order rooms, VIP rooms, and special accommodation requests Ensure all Pre-registrations are done correctly Ensure effective check-in and check-out procedures are followed for individual and group/tour activity Inform and follow up with any necessary departments to ensure that all requests for cots, cribs, packages, etc. are delivered to the guest rooms Take reservations and offer an extensive list of amenities before quoting a rate, and ask the guest for the sale. Able to provide guests with the necessary information that may include restaurant recommendations, driving directions, assistance to local services and transportation alternatives. Operate all front desk equipment such as property management system (PMS), hotel switchboard, calculator, safes and key card machines. Maintain rooms security by providing effective key control & confidentiality Complete the necessary paperwork assigned by management. This may include some accounting, taking messages, and data entry. To assist with team member orientation and training within the department as required. Maintain strict guest confidentiality. Understand, support and promote HHonors Program

Pay: $15.70-$16.50 per hour

Schedule:

8 hour shift Day shift Evening shift Every Weekend Holidays Monday to Friday Morning shift Night shift Weekends as needed
Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
Work Location: In person
