The Ptarmigan Inn is Hay River's premier full-service hotel. We are looking for Front Desk Agents to join our team in offering the highest level of customer service. We have full time and part time hours available, including Night Audit shifts.This position is limited to Canadian Citizens, Permanent Residents, or individuals currently in possession of open work permit.This position is the first person that each of our guests will meet in the hotel, and usually will be the first they speak to on the phone. As such it is important that the employee is able to present the Ptarmigan Standard of warm professionalism.This position will require the employee to be able to communicate both orally and written in the English language.Duties:Register guests, assign rooms. Process group arrivals and departures, Take, cancel and modify room reservations. Provide information on hotel facilities and services. Provide general information about points of interest in and around Hay River, NT. Investigate and resolve complaints and claims, involving management as required. Process guests departures, calculate charges and receive payments, Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms, Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations and room assignments. Provide customer service, answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages.Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
