The Lakeside Motel is located along the stunning shores of Lake Ontario in the downtown core of Wellington. We are seeking responsible, positive, and focused team players with exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet tight deadlines with high standards. We are a busy 11 room, 2 house motel located in downtown Wellington. We are seeking driven, positive and focused team players with outstanding attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines and high standards. This position is seasonal with the possibility to extend. Weekend hours are required.
The position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Greet guests and patrons
- Learn and operate Hotel reservation system
- Handle guest check ins and check outs confidently and professionally.
- Verify customer payment method and take payments.
- Be knowledgeable of all room locations and specs.
- Be knowledgeable of all motel amenities and arrange for guest to utilize them.
- Answer calls and emails in a prompt and knowledgeable manner.
- Use logbooks to communicate with other staff.
- Contact housekeeping or maintenance when problem is reported.
- Complete daily opening and closing assignments consistently.
- Stay up dated on local events, attractions and businesses
- Accommodate special request whenever possible
- Fulfill all Front desk procedures and written out by management
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Kind, courteous and helpful demeanour
- Strong communication skills
- Computer Literate - Knowledge of Apple products
