Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Counter Staff to join our team in a fast-paced food service environment. As a vital part of our operations, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization. Duties

Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards. Operate the POS system, including Micros POS, to process customer transactions efficiently. Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting them with their orders. Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the counter area, kitchen equipment, and dining space. Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations. Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed. Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

Skills

Previous experience in food preparation or food service is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus. Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices to maintain high hygiene standards. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing. Experience in the restaurant or food industry is advantageous but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated. Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
