Responsibilities
Assist in food preparation and cooking according to established recipes and standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to sanitation guidelines.
Handle food safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively while following proper procedures.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Manage cash handling processes accurately during peak service times.
Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order processing and payment transactions.
Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience for customers.
Demonstrate excellent time management skills to meet service demands during busy periods.
Provide support in inventory management by tracking stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies.
Requirements
Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential.
Strong food handling skills with an emphasis on quality control.
Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management tasks.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
