Job Description
The Freshcut/Produce Clerk is responsible to carry out a variety of duties in a professional, safe, accurate and timely manner. Exceptional customer service is expected, as is working respectfully in a team environment. The Freshcut/Produce clerk reports directly to the Produce Manager.
Adherence to all Food Safety Protocols, OH&S procedures, store policies, programs and initiatives. Assist and answer customer questions and concerns, providing them with a positive shopping experience. Keep work area neat and presentable. Handle, organize and rotate product in accordance with store policy. Cut, prepare, stock fruit and vegetables in order to fill produce tables and freshcut cooler.
Job Requirements
Ability to work quickly and independently. Being open to change and new ideas.
MUST be able to work days, start at 6am and work weekends
. Ability to lift up to 50lbs and spend entire shift standing/walking.No experience necessary, training will be provided to the right candidate.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 - 32 per week
