TutorCraft is hiring a

French & English Tutor

to work

in person

with primary school students (Grades 2-4). The role focuses on early literacy development, including phonics, reading comprehension, and foundational language skills.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

English and/or French

to students in Grades 2-4 Support

phonics, reading fluency, comprehension, spelling, and basic writing

Use age-appropriate, interactive teaching methods Help students build confidence and a love for reading Track student progress and communicate feedback to parents Conduct sessions

in person at Dollard-des-Ormeaux Public Library

Requirements

Experience tutoring or teaching

primary-level students

Strong proficiency in

English and French

Understanding of

phonics-based instruction

and early literacy Patient, encouraging, and child-friendly teaching style Reliable, punctual, and professional Education, teaching, or early childhood background is an asset

Schedule

Flexible hours (after-school and/or weekends) Consistent weekly availability preferred
