Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for teaching and a strong ability to connect with students of various ages. This role involves providing personalized instruction in multiple subjects, fostering a supportive learning environment, and helping students achieve their academic goals. You should also be able to speak English.

Duties

Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs. Assist students in understanding complex concepts in subjects such as math, science, language arts, and foreign languages. Develop engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation. Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding academic performance and areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.

Qualifications

Previous tutoring or teaching experience is preferred, especially with children. Strong proficiency in English; additional language skills in Mandarin, Spanish, French, or Japanese are a plus. Excellent writing skills to assist students with written assignments and projects. Demonstrated ability to engage students and adapt teaching methods to meet their unique needs. Classroom experience is beneficial but not mandatory; a passion for education is essential. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with students of all backgrounds. Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
