Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role involves educating students in the French language, promoting cultural understanding, and developing their communication skills through engaging lessons.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles. Teach French language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying ages and proficiency levels. Utilize various teaching methods and resources, including Learning Management Systems (LMS), to enhance student engagement and understanding. Assess student progress through regular testing, assignments, and feedback, adjusting instruction as necessary to meet individual needs. Provide tutoring support for students who require additional assistance in mastering the language. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that accommodates students with special education needs. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and classroom activities. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in language education.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education, French Language, or a related field is preferred. Proven experience teaching French in a classroom setting or through tutoring is highly desirable. Familiarity with early childhood education principles is a plus for those teaching younger students. Strong proofreading skills to ensure accuracy in educational materials and assessments. Ability to educate effectively while fostering a love for the French language and culture among students. Excellent communication skills to engage with students, parents, and staff effectively. Experience working with children of various ages is essential.
