Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in classroom settings. This role involves developing engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting students in acquiring language skills. The French Teacher will play a vital role in inspiring students to appreciate and learn the French language and culture, utilizing effective teaching methods and communication skills.

Responsibilities



Design and deliver comprehensive French language lessons tailored to various age groups and skill levels Incorporate educational tools such as Learning Management Systems (LMS) to enhance learning experiences Develop creative activities that promote speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in French Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their language development Collaborate with colleagues to integrate cross-disciplinary topics like math or special education strategies when appropriate Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student achievements Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, including special education requirements Proofread and review instructional materials for clarity and accuracy Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to foster a supportive educational environment

Experience



Prior classroom teaching experience in language instruction or early childhood education is preferred Experience working with children across different age groups is highly desirable Knowledge of math integration within language lessons is a plus Familiarity with tutoring techniques and supporting students with special educational needs is advantageous Proficiency in using LMS platforms for lesson planning and student tracking is beneficial Strong communication skills, patience, and the ability to motivate young learners are essential for success in this role
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 per week
