HS French, Spanish & Foods Teacher .875 FTE - Beginning September 2025

Langley Christian School is accepting applications for a High School French, Spanish & Foods Teacher to begin September 2 until June 26. This is a term posting to cover a leave.

THE POSITION

The High School Spanish, French and Foods Teacher will collaborate with members of staff to create innovative programming and learning opportunities. You will ensure effective implementation of inclusive practices for all students while creating a rigorous learning environment. You possess energy, commitment and readiness to participate in extra-curricular programming by coaching basketball or volleyball.

QUALIFICATIONS

BC Ministry of Education Certification


Relevant university qualifications (Bachelor of Education, minor, concentration or major in Spanish and French)


Previous experience teaching Languages at a secondary level


Previous experience teaching Foods


Experience at an independent school is an asset


A comprehensive understanding of language curriculum as per Ministry of Education BC documents


Strong computer skills, including Google suite


Model high standards in teaching practice, interactions with all stakeholders


Known to communicate, negotiate, collaborate and build partnerships effectively

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

Annual salary range of $ 66,150 - 109,379 based on 1.0 FTE
