Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Instructor for French to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical instruction. This role is essential in leading/guiding students towards achieving scores on their French exams while promoting personal growth and development.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and meet the diverse needs of students. Deliver high-quality instruction clearly and engagingly, utilizing various teaching methods and technologies. Assess student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation, collaboration, and respect. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding academic expectations and student needs. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; teaching certification preferred. Previous teaching experience is highly desirable; experience in the specific subject area is a plus. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Proficient in using technology for instructional purposes, including educational software and online learning platforms. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in lesson planning and record keeping. Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
