Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced French Instructor to join our team and help students prepare for the TEF exam. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching French as a second language, with specific experience in preparing students for the TEF. You will be responsible for designing and delivering engaging lessons that target the key components of the TEF exam, including listening, reading, writing, and speaking.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive TEF preparation curriculum tailored to students' proficiency levels.
Deliver interactive and dynamic French lessons that cover all sections of the TEF exam.
Provide individualized support to students to help them improve their language skills and achieve their desired TEF scores.
Utilize a variety of teaching methods and materials to accommodate different learning styles.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
Stay updated with the latest TEF exam format and requirements to ensure the relevance of teaching materials.
Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in French, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Certified TEF Instructor or equivalent teaching certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching French, with a focus on TEF exam preparation.
Strong knowledge of the TEF exam structure, content, and scoring.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students from diverse backgrounds.
Proficient in using technology for teaching (e.g., online platforms, interactive tools).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in curriculum development for language exams.
Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
Bilingual in English and French.
