What You'll Do
Manage and monitor freight shipments across North America and internationally, particularly for VIP and special needs accounts
Oversee the onboarding process for new accounts, including setting them up in internal systems
Generate necessary documentation for domestic and international shipments, such as invoices, air waybills, and bills of lading
Communicate with clients and vendors via email, phone, and in-person meetings to maintain strong relationships
Negotiate rates with vendors and ensure accurate vendor invoicing and file audits
Assist in resolving any operational, client, or vendor issues, escalating to management when necessary
Supervise and schedule staff, mediate disputes, and assist with performance reviews
Support new employee training and assist with HR-related matters such as interviews
Provide regular reports on department performance, including productivity and goal achievement
Assist management in enforcing new procedures and participate in client meetings when needed
Continuously improve professional knowledge through training and seminars

What You'll Bring
5+ years of experience in the logistics industry
Completion of CIFFA certification or equivalent training (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with North American and global stakeholders
Excellent negotiation, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
Experience with supervising staff and handling HR-related tasks
