Responsibilities
Proactively identify and secure new freight sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and lead generation.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with shippers and clients in the Canadian market.
Develop and grow your own book of business, driving revenue through new client acquisition.
Negotiate competitive rates and contracts with clients to secure profitable deals.
Leverage our in-house technology platform to provide clients with seamless, efficient solutions.
Collaborate with our operations team to ensure client needs are met, while focusing exclusively on sales and relationship management.
Qualifications
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
Proven experience in freight sales, business development, or a similar sales-focused role in logistics.
Established network of shippers or clients in Canada.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently to build a book of business.
Comfortable using technology platforms; experience with CRM or logistics software is a plus.
Knowledge of Canadian freight industry trends and client needs.
Compensation
This is a commission-based role. However, a monthly commission advance is available for the right candidate.
