Freight Forwarding Sales Executive
to build and grow our client base.
Responsibilities
Identify, target, and secure new clients through cold calling, prospecting, networking, and lead generation.
Sell international and domestic freight forwarding services (LTL, FTL, cross-border Canada-USA, warehousing, customs clearance).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with shippers, manufacturers, distributors, and supply chain decision-makers.
Negotiate rates, terms, and service offerings tailored to customer needs.
Collaborate with the operations and dispatch team to ensure successful execution of customer freight.
Prepare and present customized proposals and pricing quotations.
Maintain detailed records in CRM of interactions, sales pipeline, and follow-ups.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and competitor offerings.
Qualifications
2+ years of proven B2B sales experience in logistics, transportation, or freight forwarding ( Required).
Strong cold-calling, objection-handling, and closing skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
Goal-driven and self-motivated with a hunger for commissions and business growth.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Knowledge of freight operations, customs processes, and carrier relationships is an asset.
CRM experience (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar) is preferred.
