The Freight Coordinator (up to 15-month term opportunity) is invaluable position to our business - this job connects our Sawmill lumber products with our key customers! Your Qualifications:

• Business Education required (University or College)
• Ongoing positive \'can-do\' attitude
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and collaborative working environment

• Excellent time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Bilingual considered an asset
• Capability to learn new systems; the technological functions, data warehousing, information workflow and system integrations.

The Job Opportunity:

• Coordinate logistics needs for the Lumber Sales department and ensure metrics (Key Performance Indicators) are met
• Assist in rate negotiation with carriers
• Maintain account payable, respond to supplier billing inquiries
• Interact with internal/external customers to ensure high quality customer service
• Ensure transactional functions are done correctly within established system processes
• Manage carrier & order data in E1, CARMA, Mercury Gate
• Provide innovative new ideas to make process improvements
