Freight Coordinator

who will be based out of our Beiseker, Alberta facility.

The Job:

Reporting to the Branch Operations Manager, this role provides operational support to all LUFF Locations by coordinating key aspects of LUFF's freight and logistics activities. The position works closely with Sales, Purchasing, and Production to ensure all orders include accurate and complete operational steps, labour, and material requirements, enabling efficient and timely production.

This role is primarily based at the Beiseker, Alberta plant, but will be required to work at the Calgary/Rocky View facility on occasion.

In this role, you'll support daily logistics operations and help ensure smooth, efficient coordination across teams and facilities.

Your Work Will Include:

Delivering strong customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Communicating and negotiating effectively with carriers and customs brokers.

Supporting the setup, use, and training of the Quick Ship module in EPICOR.

Coordinating with logistics teams across Canadian and U.S. facilities to meet operational needs.

Performing any other duties as required.

Skills & Experience:

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Minimum 3 years' experience in a logistics or sales?related environment.

Minimum 3 years' experience with third?party logistics and brokerage.

Excellent organizational and time?management abilities.

Proven ability to meet shipping and logistics deadlines.

Proficient with Office 365 applications.

ERP systems usage (preference give to applicants with EPICOR experience.)

Compensation:

This is an hourly position with a starting wage range of $23.00 - $ 25.00 per hour. The final starting wage will be based on the successful applicant's combination of skills and experience. Future increases will be based on ongoing individual performance. Employees are eligible to participate in the company benefit program after 3 months of employment.
