Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Following SOP procedures when onboarding new partner carriers that the brokerage department will be working with. \xc2\xb7 Negotiate shipping rates with carriers and customers based on market trends and fluctuating costs. \xc2\xb7 Ensure sales and revenue targets are being met. \xc2\xb7 Managing activities throughout the order fulfilment and transportation cycle to make sure established deadlines are met. \xc2\xb7 Review, audit, and approve invoices related to logistics activities. \xc2\xb7 Working with Accounting Team to ensure customer invoices are billed correctly to the Customer and any billing discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner. Skills/Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize and reorganize workload in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic work environment \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of 3PL (third-party logistics) operations and supply chain management \xc2\xb7 Previous experience in freight brokerage or related field required \xc2\xb7 Excellent customer relationship management skills \xc2\xb7 Strong negotiation and sales skills \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written \xc2\xb7 Troubleshooting, critical thinking and developing outside the box solutions \xc2\xb7 Geographical knowledge of North America is an asset \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of LoadLink and other load boards \xc2\xb7 Team player and can collaborate with other members of our organization \xc2\xb7 Works well under pressure If you are a motivated individual with a passion for sales and logistics, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
