About the Position



This opening is at our head office located in Surrey, BC.
This position is an important role in our billing and audit department and is responsible to ensure each customer freight bill accurately reflects all the details provided by the shipping documents including per the quote if provided and services performed.

Position Requirements



Within an audit capacity, ensures billing is accurate and timely while achieving and maintaining our "days to invoice" goal

Detail review of all shipping documents and tracing information to achieve a properly rated shipment to release for invoicing to Customer

Follow-up with Customer Service and other branches to obtain missing documents in document imaging program database

Maintain and organize daily tasks to achieve goals for key accounts

Maintains workflow providing prompt and efficient billing and audit to both internal and external customers.

Identifies and recognizes billing errors especially repeat errors, and works to correct the upstream ensuring downstream results.

Helps identify enterprise wide problems for review and recommends appropriate solutions.

Interprets standard operating procedures and practices for unusual conditions and occurrences and makes appropriate decisions in the best interests of the company and the customer.

Good computer skills, including excellent keyboarding skills for speed and accuracy

Experience



Experience with AS400 and TruckMate operating system is an asset

Fast learner with excellent time management and prioritization skills; ability to coordinate many tasks simultaneously without losing focus on what is most important

Experience with MS Office, Excel, Word etc. Imaging Software

Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Ability to manage competing priorities simultaneously

Ability to research, analyze and communicate in the best interests of the company

Educational Requirements



Minimum high school diploma complemented by 3 years of progressive administrative and/or accounting experience.

Post-secondary education preferred
