Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sewing and garment construction, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products that meet our customers' specifications and expectations.

Duties

Operate sewing machines and other equipment to stitch, hem, and finish garments and textiles. Read and interpret patterns, sketches, and technical specifications to ensure accurate construction of items. Perform alterations and repairs on garments as needed, ensuring quality standards are met. Maintain an organized workspace, keeping tools and materials readily accessible. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while ensuring quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Assist in inventory management by tracking fabric and material usage.

Skills

Proficiency in sewing techniques, including knowledge of various fabrics and their properties. Experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments is preferred. Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality work consistently. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative setting. Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
