Freelance IT Support Specialist (Remote)
Location:
Mostly remote, with occasional on-site support in Shawnigan Lake, BCResponsibilities:
Provide remote IT support for hardware, software, and network issues. Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for office staff. Set up and maintain office IT infrastructure (e.g., computers, printers, routers). Assist with software installations, updates, and security patches. Offer occasional on-site support in Shawnigan Lake, if needed.Requirements:
Proven experience in IT support or a related field. Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, networking, and common office software. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Reliable internet connection and own equipment for remote work.Preferred:
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP). Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk).Compensation:
