We serve strata corporations throughout British Columbia. We are looking for an experienced freelance Electrical Engineer to prepare

Electrical Planning Reports

that satisfy Strata Property Regulation 5.10 and all relevant sections of the British Columbia Building Code. You will enjoy a flexible workload, direct client impact, and collaboration with a supportive project team focused on quality and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities



Perform on-site assessments and collect data from strata councils or property managers Complete detailed load calculations and system evaluations in accordance with BC Hydro and provincial guidelines Prepare precise, compliant EPRs for Part 9 and Part 3 buildings, ready for regulatory submission Present technical findings in clear, plain English to non-technical stakeholders Coordinate closely with ENGIPRO project managers to meet agreed schedules without compromising quality Maintain accurate project records and ensure all deliverables pass internal quality checks Produce concise technical documentation such as specifications, reports, and user instructions

Mandatory Qualifications



3+ years of verifiable Canadian experience writing Electrical Planning Reports Meets Strata Property Regulation 5.10 definition of a qualified professional: Electrical Engineer, Applied Science Technologist Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Applied Science Technology Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly Demonstrated efficiency, attention to detail, and client-centred attitude

Preferred Assets



P.Eng. licence in good standing in British Columbia or another Canadian province Direct experience serving strata councils or property-management firms Familiarity with BC Hydro load calculations and retrofit planning

Compensation



Commission paid for each completed EPR Top performers typically earn up to

CAD 15 000
