Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for supervising the provision of services to clients, their families, and communities within Addictions and Mental Health.
QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Social Work. Must be registered and a member in good standing with the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers. Must have three years of clinical experience in community addiction and/or mental health. Must have supervisory experience. Must have proof of valid Driver\'s License and access to a vehicle.
- Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
- Ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Good work record.
The Social Worker Supervisor is responsible for:
- Assigning, overseeing, reviewing and evaluating service delivery
- Planning, directing and evaluating Addiction/Mental Health programs and services
- Providing staff orientation and coordinating staff development programs
- Serving as a communication link and liaison with internal and external stakeholders and liaising with Clinical Supervisors as required
- Developing and/or ensuring compliance with standards, policies and procedures
- Reviewing all open client files to ensure they have an active Recovery Plan with clear goals, objectives, timelines and discharge planning
