HOURS OF WORK: Rotating Day, Evenings, Night, TEMP: March 10, 2023 to April 15, 2024, Subject to change due to operational requirements

SALARY: $29.62 to $31.82 per hour (Subject to employment status)

JOB PURPOSE:

As a member of an interdisciplinary team, plans, prioritizes and implements patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse (s); promotes patients\xe2\x80\x99 self-care and appropriately assists with their activities of daily living; documents patient care, identifying and reporting pertinent information to the Registered Nurse. Performs other duties as assigned. May be reassigned throughout the department as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Graduation from an approved school for Licensed Practical Nurses
• Must be currently registered with the N.B. Association of Licensed Practical Nurses.
• Current BCLS Certification \xe2\x80\x93 C level.
• Demonstrated skills working with medical/surgical patients in an acute care setting.
• Demonstrated ability to work well under the direction of the Registered Nurse and to respond to rapidly changing priorities.
• Demonstrated communication, interpersonal and team-building skills.
• Surgical float position
• Ability to attend work on a regular basis.
• Ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Good work record.
• Written and spoken competence in English is required.
