Position Overview

The Franchise Trainer & Store Launch Associate at HolyShakes is responsible for ensuring every new franchise location opens strong and operates flawlessly according to brand standards.

This role combines hands-on store launch execution with dynamic team training, making sure franchise partners and their crews deliver that signature HolyShakes energy, quality, and guest experience from day one.

If you love desserts, vibrant cafe culture, and inspiring teams to serve happiness in a glass -- this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Franchise & Crew Training

Deliver engaging, high-energy training sessions for franchise owners, store managers, and team members. Conduct in-store, classroom, and online training focused on HolyShakes standards -- product preparation, dessert presentation, hygiene, POS usage, guest interaction, and speed of service. Train teams on the HolyShakes brand story, values, and customer experience philosophy -- ensuring every shake, scoop, and waffle reflects the brand's "Born to Drink Happiness" spirit. Evaluate staff performance and provide ongoing coaching for improvement.
2. Store Launch Coordination

Manage all aspects of pre-opening operations -- from crew readiness to mock service runs. Support new franchise openings by being on-site during the soft launch and grand opening. Ensure all stations (milkshake, waffle, ice cream, and dessert prep) meet HolyShakes quality and presentation standards. Collaborate with marketing and design teams to align opening visuals, uniforms, and ambiance with brand guidelines. Troubleshoot operational or staffing challenges during launch week to ensure a smooth start.
3. Operational Excellence

Conduct periodic visits post-launch to evaluate performance, retrain staff if needed, and maintain consistency across all locations. Provide feedback to the operations and product teams for menu improvements or procedural enhancements. Support underperforming locations with hands-on retraining and operational guidance.
4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain detailed training and launch reports, including crew certifications and operational readiness checklists. Submit post-launch evaluations and recommendations to the Head of Franchising. Assist in updating HolyShakes training manuals, visual SOPs, and onboarding materials based on real-time feedback from store openings.
Qualifications & Experience

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field. 2-4 years of experience in F&B, QSR, or cafe operations -- preferably with dessert, milkshake, or quick-service brands. Proven experience conducting operational or product training. Strong understanding of food safety, quality assurance, and cafe operations. Excellent communication and leadership skills with an upbeat, motivating personality. Willingness to travel frequently for franchise openings across Canada and internationally.
Key Attributes

Energetic, approachable, and passionate about desserts & guest experience. A natural trainer who leads by example on the floor. Detail-oriented and quality-focused -- from milkshake presentation to music volume. Adaptable, proactive, and calm under launch pressure. Embodies the HolyShakes vibe -- fun, fresh, fast, and unforgettable!
