Framing Foreman

As a Framing Foreman, you'll lead framing crews on residential projects, ensuring precise structural work that meets plans and standards. Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll supervise daily operations, enforce safety, and deliver quality framing for attached dwellings. This role suits a hands-on leader passionate about craftsmanship and team success.
Key Responsibilities
Lead framing crews (4-8 members), assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
Execute framing (walls, floors, roofs) per blueprints, ensuring compliance with NBBC.
Perform quality checks to meet standards and prevent deficiencies.
Enforce WorkSafeNB safety rules, including PPE and site restrictions.
Coordinate with Project Manager and other trades to maintain schedules.
Manage material usage (e.g., lumber, fasteners) and report needs.
Train junior framers on techniques and safety.
Qualifications
5+ years in framing, with 2+ years leading crews on residential projects.
High school diploma; trade certification (e.g., Red Seal Carpenter) preferred.
Skilled in blueprint reading and wood-frame construction.
Valid WorkSafeNB safety training (e.g., Fall Protection, WHMIS) or willing to obtain.
Team leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various conditions.
Preferred: Experience with multi-unit builds in New Brunswick
