Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role requires physical stamina and proficiency with various hand and power tools, as well as experience in concrete forming and finishing. If you are passionate about building and restoration, we want to hear from you.
Job Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, erect walls and roof systems Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments Ensure safe work practices at all times
Job Requirements:
Completion of secondary school Minimum 2 years of relevant carpentry experience Ability to read blueprints and building plans Good physical stamina and attention to detail English required

Pay: $36.00-$38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Work Location: In person
