Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as experience with concrete forming and finishing.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications 1 year experience at minimum in home building Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently as needed Form concrete structures according to project requirements Perform restoration work on existing structures as necessary Install siding and other exterior finishes Utilize hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment as required Collaborate with other team members to ensure project completion on time

Requirements

Proven experience in carpentry and construction Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Knowledge of concrete forming and finishing techniques Familiarity with welding practices is a plus Strong skills in woodworking and heavy equipment operation Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for long periods Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.57-$38.74 per hour

Expected hours: 18 - 25 per week
