Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Framer / Labourer to join our crew.

You'll work directly with our experienced lead framers on-site, helping to build single-family and duplex homes from foundation to lock-up.

This role includes assisting with layout, wall and floor framing, sheathing, window and door installs, and site clean-up. Opportunity to grow into a lead position for the right person.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with wall, floor, and roof framing following plans and site instructions.

Measure, cut, and assemble lumber and structural components.

Operate power tools safely and maintain a clean, organized job site.

Load and unload materials and stage work areas efficiently.

Support installation of doors, windows, blocking, and backing.

Follow all safety rules and wear proper PPE at all times.

Work as part of a team and communicate clearly with foremen and co-workers.

Qualifications

1+ year framing or construction experience preferred (willing to train motivated workers).

Strong understanding of basic carpentry tools and measurements.

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions.

Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation to job sites.

Positive attitude, punctual, and willing to learn.

WCB coverage or willingness to obtain.
