Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing frameworks and structures according to blueprints and specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, concrete forming, and the ability to operate various hand and power tools. The Framer will play a crucial role in ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to determine project specifications. Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required for various projects. Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials. Engage in restoration work on existing structures as needed. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry or framing within the construction industry is preferred. Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation is essential. Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and restoration techniques is a plus. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely. Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job demands. Knowledge of woodworking techniques is beneficial.

Pay: $17.85-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
