Title:

Framer Carpenter

Type:

Full Time, Hourly

Wage Range: $25-$35

Reports to:

Field Supervisor

The Wood Framer will be responsible for building and assembling the structural framework of residential and/or commercial buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.

Responsibilities:

Measure, cut, and assemble framing materials Install floor joists, studs, rafters, and roof systems Ensure work is done according to building codes and safety regulations Work efficiently with hand and power tools in a team environment

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a framer or rough carpenter Ability to use measurement tools accurately Knowledge of building codes and framing techniques Physically fit and comfortable working in varying weather conditions Commitment to safety and attention to detail A self-starter with a willingness to ask questions and find solutions Ability to work independently and in cooperation with the Field Supervisor Effective communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Attention to detail skills;
Minimum 1 year of construction industry experience.

BC Driver's Licence is an asset

Familiarity with SiteMax software is an asset
