: We are seeking skilled and experienced Residential Framers/Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in residential construction, with specific expertise in framing, general carpentry, and finishing carpentry. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in building custom homes, attached homes, and multi-unit residential buildings, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Framing :
• Construct the framework of buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs, using wood, steel, or other materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of structures.
• Measure, cut, and assemble materials accurately and efficiently.
• Install windows, doors, and other structural components.
• General Carpentry :
• Perform general carpentry tasks, including constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures.
• Work with a variety of materials, including wood, metal, and composites.
• Install cabinets, countertops, and other interior fixtures.
• Finishing Carpentry :
• Perform finishing carpentry tasks, including installing trim, molding, and other decorative elements.
• Ensure all finishing work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
• Sand, stain, and paint surfaces as needed to achieve the desired finish.
• Quality and Safety :
• Ensure all work is completed according to building codes and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of the work.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaboration :
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely project completion.
• Communicate effectively with the Lead Carpenter, project managers, and site supervisors.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in framing, general carpentry, or finishing carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
