Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to construct frameworks for buildings, ensuring quality and precision in every project. The Framer will be responsible for heavy lifting and operating both hand and power tools, contributing to the successful completion of our projects.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to determine project specifications. Construct and install frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in the framing process. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as required. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for larger projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. Engage in restoration work as needed, maintaining existing structures while adhering to safety regulations. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety protocols.

Experience

Proven experience in carpentry or construction is essential. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Familiarity with concrete forming, finishing, and welding techniques is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. Experience with woodworking and operating various hand tools and power tools safely. Knowledge of siding installation processes is advantageous. Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred but not mandatory.
