The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of building techniques and be comfortable working with various materials and tools. As a Framer, you will play a crucial role in constructing frameworks for buildings, ensuring that all structures are safe, durable, and meet project specifications.
Responsibilities
Construct and assemble wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs.
Interpret and work from schematics to accurately build structures according to design specifications.
Perform heavy lifting as required to move materials and equipment on-site.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete framing tasks.
Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety on-site.
Restore or repair existing structures as needed during the framing process.
Experience
Proven experience in framing or related construction work is preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints or schematics effectively.
Experience using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong physical stamina to handle heavy lifting and long hours on the job site.
