Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building structures and a keen eye for detail. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing frameworks for buildings, ensuring that all components are accurately aligned and securely fastened. This role requires physical stamina, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.

Responsibilities

Construct frameworks for residential and commercial buildings using wood or metal materials. Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of structures. Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed. Install drywall, siding, and other exterior finishes. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Collaborate with other construction professionals to ensure project timelines are met. Conduct heavy lifting as required during the framing process. Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged framing components.

Qualifications

Proven experience in framing or a related construction field is preferred. Ability to weld is a plus. Familiarity with concrete forming techniques is advantageous. Experience with drywall installation and siding application is desirable. Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods. Proficient in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
