Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, restoring, and building frameworks for various structures, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role requires proficiency in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to read and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

Construct frameworks for buildings, including walls, roofs, and floors using wood or metal materials. Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently when necessary. Utilize hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Perform concrete forming tasks to create strong foundations for structures. Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of framing with other construction elements. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times. Read and interpret blueprints or schematics to determine project requirements.

Experience

Proven experience in framing or carpentry is essential. Familiarity with drywall installation, siding application, and concrete forming is highly desirable. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to the framing trade. Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus but not mandatory. Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations related to construction work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
