Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. This role involves working with various materials and tools to construct frameworks for buildings, ensuring quality and precision in every project.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements Construct wooden frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed Collaborate with other construction team members to ensure timely project completion Conduct restoration work on existing structures as required Install siding and other exterior finishes according to project plans Lift heavy materials and equipment as necessary to complete tasks Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

Proven experience in carpentry, construction, or related fields Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is a plus Experience with concrete forming, finishing, and welding techniques is desirable Strong woodworking skills with attention to detail Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the workday Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
