GTA (projects city-wide; currently booked in the west end Etobicoke/Mississauga)
Who we're looking for
Solid mid-level framers who can pull their weight, think ahead, and care about the finished product. Not looking for leads or paper pushers, just dependable carpenters who know their math and can keep a crew moving.
Must-haves (no exceptions)
Own vehicle.
If you don't have a car/truck, this isn't the role.
Tickets:
Ontario
Worker Health & Safety Awareness
, Working at Heights*,
WHMIS
(valid).
Tools/PPE:
Standard PPE, framer's hand tools, and a proper belt -- show up equipped.
Math:
Comfortable with
fractions and geometry
(layouts, rake walls, stairs, roof pitches).
Language:
Fluent
English
for safety and coordination.
Work status:
Legally entitled to work in Canada.
Experience:
2-4 years
in residential framing (custom homes/laneway/additions ideal).
Nice-to-have (earns you points)
Reads permit sets and details without hand-holding.
Spots problems early, brings solutions.
Plays well with others, can also work solo without drama.
Shows up on time, ready to work.
What we offer (Payroll)
$23-$32/hr
based on experience and capability.
Bi-weekly payroll
with proper source deductions and paystubs.
Immediate 4% vacation pay, paid out with every payroll deposit
Full compliance with
Ontario labour laws
and WSIB coverage.
Consistent winter hours (
8:00-4:30
).

and prefer to work on a house-by-house basis:

Bring your own tools, PPE, and transport.
Competitive project rates paid by progress draws; documentation required.

What you'll do
Frame walls, floors, roofs, blocking, stairs, and details to spec.
Layout from drawings, pull accurate measurements, and cut clean.
Keep it square, level, plumb -- and keep the site tidy.
Flag issues early to avoid backframing later.
Hard no's
No vehicle.
No valid safety ticket.
No tools/PPE.
