Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring precision and safety throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of carpentry, blueprint reading, and various construction techniques. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about building and craftsmanship, with a focus on residential, commercial, or restoration projects. Candidates must be capable of heavy lifting and operating power tools and heavy equipment as needed to complete projects efficiently.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute framing tasks Construct wood or concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structural components Install siding, framing, and other structural elements using hand tools and power tools Perform concrete finishing and form removal in accordance with project specifications Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks such as lifting and positioning large materials Assist in restoration projects by repairing or replacing damaged framing or structures Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope Maintain a clean work environment and properly care for tools and equipment

Requirements

Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or concrete forming preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and woodworking techniques Experience with heavy lifting, heavy equipment operation, and concrete finishing is a plus Knowledge of siding installation and restoration processes is desirable Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials repeatedly Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety standards Valid license or certification is preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions
