Job Overview


We are seeking a few skilled and dedicated Framers to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures primarily using wood, concrete, and other building materials. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprint reading, carpentry, and construction safety standards. The Framer will work closely with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications. Candidates with experience in concrete forming, siding, restoration, and heavy equipment operation will be highly valued. This position offers an opportunity to develop a broad skill set in the construction industry while contributing to high-quality building projects.

Duties



Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately construct frameworks and structures Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood framing components using hand tools and power tools Set up and operate heavy equipment necessary for framing tasks Construct concrete forms for foundations, walls, and other structures with precision Install siding and perform restoration work as needed to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely throughout the project site Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes Assist in the operation of welding equipment for structural repairs or modifications Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of debris properly

Qualifications



Proven experience in framing, carpentry, or related construction roles Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery operation Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing techniques, and woodworking skills Familiarity with siding installation and restoration processes is a plus Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting regularly Excellent attention to detail and safety consciousness Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Prior experience in construction or carpentry certifications is preferred but not mandatory

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
