We are currently seeking an

experienced Framer

to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with strong residential framing experience who takes pride in building safe, accurate, and structurally reliable wood-frame structures.

Job Responsibilities

Construct and install wood-frame structures including walls, floors, roofs, and exterior framing components Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building specifications Measure, mark, cut, and assemble lumber and engineered wood products Install sheathing, subfloors, trusses, and framing hardware according to building codes and company standards Use hand and power tools safely and efficiently (saws, nailers, levels, lasers, etc.) Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades to ensure efficient workflow Inspect work for accuracy, structural integrity, and alignment Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow all safety protocols, fall-protection requirements, and company procedures Perform other construction-related duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Language:

English

Education:

Diploma, apprenticeship training, or equivalent hands-on experience

Experience:

Minimum

3 years of residential wood framing experience

required Demonstrated ability to frame structural walls, floors, and roofs Experience in residential construction environments preferred Ability to read construction drawings and layout plans Experience with framing crews, production framing, or custom homes considered an asset

Skills & Certifications:

WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection, or other safety certifications are considered assets Must be physically able to lift materials, climb ladders, bend, kneel, and work in varying weather conditions Comfortable working at heights and on active construction sites Strong attention to detail, safety-focused, and reliable
