Position Summary

to join our construction team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing, assembling, and installing wood and metal framework for residential and commercial projects. This is a

Key Responsibilities

Perform all aspects of framing, including walls, floors, trusses, roofs, and sheathing Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and building plans Measure, cut, assemble, and secure lumber and other materials accurately Erect and install structural components in compliance with building codes and company standards Operate hand tools, power tools, saws, nail guns, and other framing equipment safely and efficiently Assist with site preparation, setup, and material handling as required Follow safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized job site Work collaboratively with other trades and team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications

Previous framing or carpentry experience required (1+ years preferred, higher experience levels strongly considered) Ability to read and understand blueprints and measurements Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly Reliable transportation to job sites across Winnipeg and surrounding areas Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Must provide CSA-approved work boots and appropriate PPE

Work Schedule & Compensation

Monday to Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm (overtime after 40 hours/week) Full-time, permanent position

Pay rate: $20.00 - $30.00+ per hour, based on experience and skill level

Vacation pay included in each paycheck Semi-monthly pay (15th and last day of the month) Additional compensation for out-of-town work Benefits package eligibility after 6 months of employment
